UV lasers reduce thermally induced material distortion in thermal processing equipment such as fibre lasers and CO2 lasers.
Also, the 355nm UV light has a smaller focus point, which is advantageous in fine processing.
Reduced contamination
With the help of laser energy, the bonds between atoms and molecules are broken, causing larger molecules to condense into smaller ones and evaporate or vaporise.
This technique is smoke-free and non-polluting, with a small focus point and a slight effect on the heat-affected zone of the process.

Currently, UV laser marking machines have been widely used in the fine processing industry: pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics and other polymer material packaging surface marking.
