How many years can a laser marking machine last?

The number of years a laser marking machine can be used is related to many external factors, such as the working environment. Here we have to exclude external factors in order to say how many years a laser marking machine can be used.

There are three types of laser marking machines in common use, fiber laser marking machines, CO2 laser marking machines and UV laser marking machines, each with a different service life.

1. The life expectancy of a fibre laser marker is 100,000 hours, which equates to 11.4 years. The fibre laser is the cheapest option and the most used laser.

2. CO2 lasers are characterised by relatively rich spectral lines, high optical quality of the output beam, good coherence, narrow line width and stable operation. CO2 lasers are more powerful and have a higher energy conversion efficiency, which can reach 30-40%, also exceeding that of general gas lasers. CO2 lasers generally have a service life of 40,000 hours and need to be inflated after 4w hours. Then it can be used again.
